It is a little bit expensive, but the pasta and risotto dishes are great. Would maybe recommend avoiding the grill menu items as they aren't very big and not exceptionally delicious.

This is literally one of the best Italian meals I have ever had in my life, and that includes meals made by people from Sicily.

2019/12/30After a short break, I booked and visited a course meal in the piano bar area. I was able to enjoy dinner elegantly, listening to not only the piano, but also the violin and canzone, as well as the atmosphere inside the shop and the piano live like in Europe. There are many shops that offer delicious food, but I think this is highly rated in that you can enjoy dinner.

This restaurant is definitely the restaurant where you can enjoy the atmosphere of Japan, Rome and Italy. For pasta, Carbonara, Amatriciana and Pizza are the best. There is also a terrace seat where you can enjoy an Italian dinner without going to Italy.

Real Italian bistro feel at the heart of Nagoya. Great service and charming wine list. And of course the food is great too.

I’ve loved this restaurant since I first went there many years ago. As a long term resident of Japan stepping inside Antica Roma was always a wonderful escape to the Italy I adore. Everything is wonderfully authentic, the food is exquisite and the service is superb. The Italians are the world masters at making their guests feel welcome and Antica Roma is so much like being in Italy that stepping outside afterwards has you expecting to see Lambrettas whizzing past. This is a top quality restaurant which I thoroughly recommend.

The piano bar in the back was spacious and nice, and the lighting was calm and not too bright.I enjoyed playing piano, canzone and violin, and the service and food were good and I had a good time. The only thing is that the restroom is so far away from the atmosphere of the store that it is so exciting that it is a shame. If it is not a cigar, you can smoke at the table.

Food was quite good but watch out for price gouging in a place that is already very expensive for what it is. I ordered a coke from the menu which was priced at 500 Yen when the bill came I was charged 900 Yen. I complained and was told that it was because it was a large coke. Nowhere on the menu did it have a coke for 900 Yen (£7 for a coke may be the single most expensive soft drink I've ever had). When I pointed out this was unfair the attitude was pretty much tough luck. They also add a 300 Yen per person cover charge and don't include tax in the prices listed. In total I paid nearly £30 for a pizza and a coke which seems pretty extortionate!
